Celebrities Selling Their Homes

A host of celebrities have taken recent actions with regards to their real estate, much of it coming in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area where stars tend to congregate. To start with, Britney Spears is still trying to unload her former home in the gated Summit community in Beverly Hills. The Summit Circle property, after being on and off the market, is now listed for approximately $6.5 million. Spears has moved to another gated community in Calabasas when she’s not touring.

 

Married stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who recently moved into a Pacific Palisades estate, have sold their former Brentwood home, according to sources. The selling price for the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is said to be $6.25 million. Ms. Garner purchased the home in 2004 for $5.5 million, before she married Affleck.

 

TV star Tate Donovan is also selling his small LA home. The 1,279 square foot abode has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is selling for $789,000.

 

On the other side of the country, Joan Rivers is finally selling her Manhattan penthouse condominium. The three-bedroom penthouse was meticulously restored by Ms. Rivers since she purchased it some 20 years ago. It is located on the Upper East Side just off Fifth Avenue. The listing price is a mere $25 million.
